What You’ll Be Doing

📹 Long-form YouTube Video Editing – Edit 2-4 long-form videos per month (typically 20-40 minutes each), maintaining our signature style and ensuring maximum engagement and retention throughout. You’ll work with raw footage to create polished, professional videos that educate and inspire our audience.

What We’re Looking For

✅ Long-Form Expertise – You have experience editing educational/talking-head style YouTube videos and understand what makes long-form content engaging.

✅ Technical Proficiency – You’re expert-level in Premiere Pro and/or Final Cut Pro, with experience in motion graphics software like After Effects or Motion.

✅ Brand Understanding – You’ve watched our content and understand our tone, style, and educational approach, and can replicate this consistently.

✅ Retention Mastery – You understand YouTube retention graphs and know how to edit for maximum viewer engagement throughout longer videos.

✅ Visual Storytelling – Enhance our educational content with graphics, animations, B-roll, and visual elements that support the narrative and make complex topics more digestible.

✅ Efficiency & Quality – You can deliver high-quality edits consistently while working efficiently to meet our publishing schedule – reliability is a key requirement for this role.

✅ Communication Skills – You can work collaboratively with our team, take feedback constructively, and communicate progress clearly.

✅ Creative Input – Suggest new editing techniques, visual styles, and creative directions to help evolve our long-form content and stay ahead of trends.
