We’re hiring a full-time Social Media Manager to join our team in Hong Kong. This is a high-impact, in-person role that involves working directly with me (Ali) to grow our social media presence with a strong focus on Instagram and TikTok.
Our whole mission is to create inspiring, educational content that helps people build a life they love. We’ve got a following of around 8 million people, and our content collectively gets millions of views each month. We get daily emails and DMs from people all around the world whose lives have been transformed by the content we share – and you’ll be in charge of a major piece of the ecosystem.

Location: Hong Kong (must be available to work in person with me most weekdays in Causeway Bay)
Salary: Up to $500,000 HKD per year, very negotiable depending on experience. We want to find the best person for the role, and are willing to pay whatever it takes to make that happen 😉
About the Role
We’re looking for someone to fully own our key short-form social media platforms, ie: Instagram, TikTok and YouTube Shorts. You’ll help drive growth across these platforms, helping create inspiring educational content. You’ll manage the full production pipeline, and work closely with me to turn everyday ideas into impactful short-form content.
This is a very in-person role. You’ll be my on-the-ground creative buddy, helping me film on the go, stick to our content calendar, and spot spontaneous moments worth capturing.

Our mission is to create inspiring, educational content that helps people build a life they love. Over the past 7 years, our YouTube channel’s grown to 6 million + subscribers, with 1M on Instagram and hundreds of thousands of followers on our other platforms.
Our content aims to help people be more productive, live more intentionally, become financially independent, and generally live a fulfilling meaningful life.

What You’ll Be Doing
📈 Strategy & Planning
- Own the growth strategy for our Instagram and TikTok
- Set and hit audience growth targets
- Regularly review performance metrics and iterate based on what works
- Research trends and audience insights to inform new content formats
- Coordinate with the rest of the team to align call-to-actions (CTAs), lead magnets, and campaign messaging
- Coordinate campaigns to support our business commercial goals (e.g. Black Friday campaigns for our course and software launches)
🎥 Content Production
- Prepare scripts, hooks, and talking points for filming days
- Turn my raw ideas, comments, and theories into compelling short-form content
- Capture spontaneous behind-the-scenes moments in our day
- Manage carousel production, stay up to date with new trend styles, and adapt them to our usual carousels and CTAs as needed
- Film and manage sponsored content, liaising with brands as necessary
🧠 Post-Production & Editing
- Manage and organise raw footage
- Assign editing work to freelance shortform video editors
- Review edited shorts and provide feedback to ensure quality standards are met
📅 Scheduling & Posting
- Schedule and post content based on the most effective timings

Requirements
- Design skills (e.g. Canva, Figma, Adobe Suite) for carousels or social graphics
- Familiarity with video editing platforms like Premiere, CapCut, or Final Cut – you won’t be doing most of the “fancy” motion graphics type editing (we’ve got a great team of editors for that), but for the more basic “chill” “less overproduced” content, you should be familiar with how to make IG reels and TikToks in-app or using something like CapCut / Final Cut / Premiere Pro etc.
- A deep love of books and/or the productivity and personal development space

- Experience working with creators or influencer-led brands
