Do you panic under pressure? Maybe it’s a job interview, or an important exam, or a presentation at work. Expectation and nerves can get to us, and we don’t know how to cope. But – there are ways that we can build our resilience and work towards the goals that really matter to us. Today on Deep Dive I’m joined by Dan Carter – one of the greatest rugby players of all time. He’s super famous in his home country of New Zealand, where he played for the All Blacks for over fifteen years and lead them to historic victories. He is the highest ever points scorer in test match rugby history and many people think he is the best ever fly half the game has ever known, having been named International Player of the Year three times. But he’s also encountered significant setbacks in his career, and since his retirement from the professional game, he’s gone on to become a leader, advisor and writer, helping people achieve their potential. His new book, The Art of Winning, is all about how to become the best in your game – whatever that may be. In this conversation we’re going to be talking about how to find your purpose, overcome setbacks and perform well under pressure. I hope this episode gives you some tools you can use to reach your potential. Enjoy!
